About me – Lukas Schönbächler, Founder
My name is Lukas Schönbächler. I am 35 years old – and have been wrestling since I was 4.
Wrestling is not just a hobby for me. It has shaped me – it has taught me discipline, perseverance, and true team spirit. Values that I live by every day.
But one thing annoyed me for years: In Switzerland, it was almost impossible to find good wrestling shoes, equipment, and suitable accessories. I constantly had to order from abroad – with long delivery times, high costs, and poor service.
Instead of continuing to be annoyed, I solved the problem myself.
This is how Home of Wrestling was born – Switzerland's first specialized wrestling shop. Founded by a true wrestler, for true wrestlers.
